Thursday 27 November 2025 – Arrive in Shanghai
Arrival in Shanghai
Succeeding hotel check-in you have rest of the day is at leisure.
Hotel Rooms are usually ready by 3pm, if you arrive before then you may leave your luggage at hotel.
Friday 28 November 2025 – Race Expo / Optional City Tour
If you have booked the Shanghai City Tour - after breakfast the tour starts from 9am and included visits to the Yuyuan Garden and Shanghai Tower or Jade Buddha Temple !
After the tour we will enjoy a late lunch at a restaurant in Pudong.
The afternoon you will be escorted to the Shanghai Marathon EXPO, before returning to the hotel for around 17:30.
Enjoy the evening at your leisure.
Saturday 29 November 2025 – Warm-Up Run
The warm-up run (organized by Shanghai Marathon) takes place today – details and timings to be confirmed.
The evening we will enjoy an optional pre-race dinner - details to be confirmed closer to the time.
Sunday 30 November 2025 – SHANGHAI MARATHON 2025
After an early breakfast we make our way to the race village.

The Shanghai Marathon is the highest-rated marathon in China and is categorised as a Platinum Label Road Race by World Athletics. Race through the streets of Shanghai and enjoy the marvellous views along the Huangpu River with tens of thousands of other runners.
Please note: There won’t be a shuttle bus back to the hotel, everyone will have a metro card and can take subway back to hotel, this is much easier/faster than the shuttle.
