The EDP Lisbon Marathon is an official race of the International Athletics Federation (IAAF) calendar and it’s becoming a top international race, attracting the top elite athletes and thousands of foreign runners from all over the world.
This marathon follows a scenic course starting in Cascais and running along the coast, taking runners past the Tagus River and through Lisbon’s historic sites and gardens. It offers minimal elevation, making it a popular choice for those looking to enjoy both a relatively flat course and stunning views of Lisbon’s architecture and ocean vistas.
