The 25th edition of the Dubai Marathon marks its silver jubilee as the Middle East’s oldest international road race. Organized by Pace Events FZ LLC under the patronage of the Dubai Sports Council, the event expects elite and amateur runners alike from over 140 countries, further cementing its status as a top‑ten global marathon. The course, renowned for being remarkably flat and fast, has seen legendary performances in past editions—from Haile Gebrselassie’s second‑fastest marathon time in 2008 to the historic seven runners breaking 2:05 in 2018
To celebrate its milestone edition, the 2026 event will include multiple race categories: the full marathon (42.195 km), a 10 km road race, and a 4 km fun run, making it accessible to all fitness levels—from elite pros to casual fun‑runners and families.
The marathon route takes runners through Dubai’s most scenic urban stretches—starting near Madinat Jumeirah, along Jumeirah Beach Road, passing the iconic Burj Al Arab, Jumeirah Beach Hotel, and offering coastal views before looping back. This backdrop delivers both a fast course and unforgettable visuals—combining competitive speed with world‑class city imagery.
