BARCELONA MARATHON is flat, with very few hills, making it ideal for achieving a good time.
Runners start and finish below the green hills of Montjuic Park in front of the Magic Fountain. They then race through the city enjoying many of the sites of the Catalan capital. Along the way they will see Camp Nou (home to FC Barcelona), Gaudi’s magnificent La Pedrera and his cathedral masterpiece La Sagrada Familia.

Day 1 – Friday 14 March 2025– Arrive in Barcelona
Arrive at Barcelona El Prat Airport in Barcelona
Succeeding hotel check-in you have the rest of the day at leisure.
Optional visit to the race expo to collect your race pack.
Day 2 – Saturday 15 March 2025 – Barcelona Marathon Breakfast Run / Race Expo
Make Your way to the Barcelona Marathon Breakfast run. The run is 4 km long starting and finishing in the Plaza Joan Puig i Cadafalch, running through the main parks, avenues of the Magic Mountain of Montjuic and its Olympic ring.
Fun and good atmosphere are assured during the run, ending with a popular breakfast.
Thereafter, visit the Barcelona Marathon race expo which is located close by.
Rest the day is at leisure.
Day 3 – Sunday 16 March 2025 – BARCELONA MARATHON
** Today is the big day – BARCELONA MARATHON **
After an early breakfast, we make our way to the start of the race.
