The Schneider Electric Marathon de Paris is one of the biggest marathons in the world where each year over 60 000 runners from nearly 140 nationalities come to tackle the legendary 42.195 km distance discovering one of the world’s great cities.
Pound your way through the pavements of the Paris’ most famous avenues and plazas, from the foot of the Arc de Triomphe, where you take the start on the Champs Elysées, towards the Place de la Concorde. From the Rue de Rivoli you’ll then sweep through the Place de la Bastille. After a glimpse of greenery in the Bois de Vincennes, views of Notre Dame and the Eiffel Tower point the way home.
The RACE EXPO, the Salon du Running, is located at Porte de Versailles takes place three days before the marathon. It is an occasion not to be missed, a gathering of over 80,000 visitors with more than 200 professionals from the running world.

Paris is the capital of France as well as a global center for art, fashion, gastronomy and culture.
Its picturesque 19th-century cityscape is crisscrossed by wide boulevards and the River Seine. Major landmarks include the Eiffel Tower and the 12th-century Gothic Notre-Dame cathedral.
The city is known for its cafe culture, and designer boutiques along the Rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré.
You can expect an average high tempreture of 15 degrees in Paris during April months.

Tucked away in a quiet side street with many restaurants and shops nearby, its setting offers a wide choice for lovers of good food and shopping. Just a few minutes away from the hotel are the Saint-Lazare railway station and its 80 shops, the Place de la Madeleine, the Grévin Museum and the luxurious Place Vendôme.
The area is also home to a number of renowned theatres, cinemas and concert halls, such as the Théâtre des Variétés, the Théâtre de la Michodière, the Olympia, the Grand Rex, the Folies Bergères and the prestigious Opéra-Comique.
Metro stations, RER stations and bus services are also plentiful in the vicinity of the hotel. These public transport links offer direct access to the Eiffel Tower, the Champs Elysées, the Louvre Museum, the Latin Quarter, as well as to Disneyland Paris and the business district of La Défense. The Roissybus, which passes just in front of the Opera, offers a direct service to Roissy-Charles de Gaulle Airport.

If time permits, make your wait to the race expo – Salon du Running. Detailed directions to the expo will be supplied in your mobile app.
Day 2 – Saturday 4 April 2020 – Paris Marathon Breakfast Run / Race Expo
Make your way to the Paris Marathon Breakfast run. The start is 1.7 km from your hotel and directions will be supplied in your mobile app.
The route is 5 km and on closed roads. You will discover historic monuments along the route: the Carrousel du Louvre, the Musée d’Orsay, the Pont Alexandre III, followed by an amazing finish on the Champ de Mars beneath the Eiffel Tower!
If you have not already collected your race number, make your way to the expo – Salon du Running. Directions will be supplied in your mobile app.
Day 3 – Sunday 5 April 2020 – PARIS MARATHON
** Today is the big day – PARIS MARATHON **
After an early breakfast, we make our way to the start of the race. Detailed directions will be supplied in your mobile app.

Day 4 – Monday 6 April 2020 – Flight back Home
Au revoir Paris – Good Bye Paris
Hotel check-out and make your way to the airport. Detailed directions will be supplied in your mobile application. Alternatively, if you have booked the optional airport transfers then your driver will collect at your hotel to get you to the airport.
